Manufacturing Vision is a comprehensive software package that combines the functions of Estimating (Quoting), Order Entry, Production Scheduling & Control, Inventory Management and Costing. The Quotation application allows the user to build a product by answering simple questions. The application builds the finished item including all materials and labour hours required. When the Order is received, all of the Quotation information is handed over to Order Entry, including a unique Bill of Materials and a unique Routing. Automated shop floor data collection can then be used to gather the actual hours required to manufacture the product. A final comparison can be made between Estimated and Actual costs which will then be used to refine the Estimating / Quotation process.
